Full Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis at the Universidad de Alcalá and founding member of Equalitas and WEIPO and external collaborator of ECOSOT. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute of Florence. She has been Professor of Public Economics at the Universidad de Vigo and head of research studies at the Institute of Fiscal Studies. Her research focuses on measuring well-being, income dynamics, inequality and poverty in rich countries, intergenerational transmission of opportunities and the redistributive effects of public policies. Her works have been published in prestigious national and international journals such as Economic Systems, Review of Income and Wealth, Journal of Economic Inequality, Feminist Economics or Review of Economics of the Household, as well as in numerous reports and book chapters in publishing houses such as Oxford and Cambridge University Press, Edward Elgar and Ashgate. She has recently participated as an author in a chapter in the Handbook of Research in Economic and Social Wellbeing and she is editor of Applied Economics Analysis.
