Carolina is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of Social Security revenues and expenditures.
Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Valladolid. She joined the High Service of Economists and Trade Experts in 2014. She has been an Advisory Member of the Directorate of Macroeconomic Analysis at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation where, among other functions, she has represented Spain on the working groups of the OECD’s Economic Policy Committee and on the Working Group on Ageing Populations of the European Commission, which draws up long-term forecasts of spending on pensions, health and dependency, and the analysis of fiscal sustainability.
