The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) has to issue a report on the basic budget lines of Local Corporations for 2021. Previously, on November 5, AIReF issued the report on the basic lines of Public Administration budgets (AAPP ) for 2021 with a preliminary assessment of the subsectors that, at the local level, is now completed and updated with the individual information of the 24 large Local Corporations (CCLL) and the analysis of those entities that present the greatest sustainability risk.
AIReF concluded in its report of November 5 that the local subsector could close 2021 with a deficit of one tenth of GDP, after being in the balance environment in 2020, given the extension of the pandemic and the implications of the suspension of the tax rules. The data available from the 24 large CCLLs confirm the AIReF forecasts for 2021 and 2021 for the total of the subsector.
