This report assesses the macroeconomic forecasts that will accompany the preliminary draft budget for 2020 of the Basque Country, as they are different forecasts from those of the Spanish economy as a whole.
The GDP and Employment forecasts are evaluated, analyzing the presence of biases. As a result of its analysis, AIReF endorses the macroeconomic forecasts for 2020 for the Basque Country as prudent, as they fall within the middle zone of the intervals for both variables.
