The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) published today on its website the follow-up of the recommendations made in the third quarter of the year. Specifically, AIReF issued 7 recommendations, of which 6 were new and 1 of those considered to be live recommendations. The new recommendations issued were aimed at providing public accounts with a medium-term orientation and strengthening financial sustainability.
These recommendations were included in the reports issued in the third quarter of the year. Between July and September, AIReF issued the Report on the budget execution, public debt and the expenditure rule of the Public Administrations (PAs) for 2022, completed with the issuance of the individual reports for the Autonomous Regions (CCAA) and the report on Local Corporations (CCLL). In addition, it issued the report on the concurrence of the exceptional circumstances of the Organic Law on Budgetary Stability and Financial Sustainability (LOEPS) and reported the macroeconomic forecasts of the draft budgets for 2023 of Navarra, Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha.
