Fernando García Martínez
Financial Instrument Evaluation Analyst
Fernando performs evaluations of public policies, specifically the analysis of Central Government and Autonomous Region financial instruments.
Fernando holds a PhD in Economic and Business Science. He is a Tenured Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid in the field of Financial Economics and Accounting, on a leave of absence since 2014 to begin working as an Expert in Financial Regulation at the Bank of Spain. He has provided services in different banking departments and has also represented it at the European Banking Authority (EBA), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). Previously, he worked in the private sector, first in financial departments and then as the Director of the journal Técnica Contable, and as a consultant for public and private entities, both Spanish and international.
