Hector coordinates the methodologies used to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of public policies and participates in the design of the scope of the evaluations.
Héctor holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid and a master’s degree in Economic Research from Cambridge University. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked for the Overseas Development Institute as a development economist for the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. In 2018, he joined the High Service of Economists and trade experts. In terms of Spanish public administration, he has worked at the Directorate-General of Macroeconomic Analysis of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, at the General Secretariat of Economic Analysis of the Department to Promote Competition at the CNMC and as an Advisory Member of the General Secretariat of Inclusion Objectives and Policies and Social Welfare at the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.
