The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) will step up its efforts to disseminate its work, aiming to reach out to the non-specialist public. Thus, it will fulfil one of the aims of its Strategic Plan 2020-2026: to promote transparency – one of its guiding principles – along with independence and accountability.
To that end, AIReF will promote the preparation of multimedia content, such as videos and infographics, that make it easier to explain the content of its publications. It will also increase its presence on social media by opening new profiles on platforms where it is not currently present, such as Instagram, and it plans to create a space on the website dedicated to economic dissemination.
Another of AIReF’s communication targets for the coming months is to promote the development and proposal of communication activities that may stem from the external evaluation it is undergoing, which aligns with its strategic priorities.
To implement these actions, AIReF will be supported by ViewPoint Communication – the agency that has been the successful bidder of the new contract – which runs for 12 months from September 1st, 2024, with the possibility of two extensions of 12 and 6 months. The services provided cover external, internal and institutional communication, full web management, a specific digital communication plan and specific action plans when deemed necessary.
