Pilar designs time series methodology and tools to forecast national macroeconomic aggregates.
Pilar holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Business Administration from the Pontificia de Comillas University. She joined the High Service of Economists and trade experts in 2017 and the State Service of Qualified Commercial Technicians since 2015. Before joining AIReF, she worked at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. She has been a Member of the Spanish Economy and Deputy Assistant Director at the Directorate-General for Economic Policy, specialising in areas such as the labour market, social protection, equality policies, the education system and entrepreneurship.
