Degree in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid and PhD in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid. She is Vice-Rector of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Employability at the University of Alcalá and Professor of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business at the Department of Economics. Her research trajectory is related to economic prediction, statistics and applied economics at both the academic and professional levels. She has served as Counsellor and Deputy Director in the Economic Office of the President of the Government (2006-2011).
She is currently collaborating with the COTEC Foundation for innovation as part of the “The 100 of COTEC” network as an expert in statistics and economic prediction and also participates in the EURITO project, for the creation of new indicators based on Big Data, funded by the H2020 programme.
