According to the law creating AIReF, the forecasts that are incorporated into the draft budgets of the Public Administrations must have an AIReF report indicating whether they have been endorsed or not.
Specifically, this report assesses the macroeconomic forecasts that will accompany the 2021 draft budget for the Canary Islands.
This community presents estimates of GDP in terms of volume and employment for the period 2020-2021. In addition to assessing the degree of realism of these forecasts, it is assessed whether the scenarios meet the requirements established by European regulations for the EU Member States, as specified in its article Directive 2011/85/EU, of 8 December November 2011.
