The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the forecasts accompanying the 2025 draft budget of the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, which presents estimates of growth in gross domestic product (GDP), in volume terms and at current prices, of the GDP deflator and of employment, in terms of persons employed for the period 2022-2026, different from the latest estimates of the macroeconomic scenario for the national set.
This community estimates GDP growth in volume terms of 2% for the year of the budgets being formulated. This forecast is between the 40-60th percentiles of AIReF’s estimates (central forecast of 1.8%) and is below the lower end of the range of forecasts made by other agencies for the region.
