The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses and considers feasible the forecasts for 2023 presented by Aragon. These forecasts are made in a context of uncertainty that makes their assessment difficult at the national level, but even more so at the territorial level. Although the estimated GDP rate for 2023 by Aragón is higher than AIReF’s, it is within the range of the analysts’ consensus estimates and is identical to that included in the macroeconomic table accompanying the General State Budget.
According to the Law creating AIReF, the macroeconomic forecasts included in the draft budgets of all the Public Administrations must have a report from the institution indicating whether they have been endorsed.
