Evaluations

AIReF plays an important role in the evaluation of public policies. This function, which it did not assume in its origins, has been consolidated over the years. In September 2021, the new Public Expenditure Evaluation Division was formally created. This Division is in charge of managing the Spending Reviews, a project that has its origins in the commissioning carried out by the Government in the 2017-2020 Stability Program Update; the commissioning of studies carried out by other Public Administrations and those related to specific matters such as the Minimum Income or the Minimum Living Income, among others.
