The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility, AAI (AIReF) has approved a Resolution announcing the new edition of the grants to universities and other Academic Centres for the promotion of training and research in the field of economic and budgetary analysis for fiscal stability and sustainability. The Resolution has been published today on its website and the extract in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
This is a grant programme for universities and other Centres, which will ultimately be used for scholarships for trainees and whose total amount is 160,000.00 euros.
This is the ninth call for applications for the grant programme promoted by AIReF, following the success of previous years. To date, around 80 students have benefited from a training or research grant thanks to this programme.
The scholarships will last for twelve months for each class and will be funded from AIReF’s budget. They will be awarded to participants in the training programmes through the selected beneficiary institutions (universities and academic centres) with which AIReF will sign the corresponding agreement.
The grants are provided through two scholarship programmes:
- Training Programme, whose training work will be related to the work carried out by AIReF’s different Divisions. It will amount to €1,150/month per trainee.
- Research Programme, with a notably academic content and linked to specific projects. It will be endowed with 1,500 euros/month per student.
Eligible beneficiaries are entities and students who meet the requirements set out in Basis 2 of Resolution 2/2023 of the AIReF President’s Office.
Applications for this call may be submitted telematically at the AIReF’s website (https://airef.sede.gob.es/), in person at AIReF’s headquarters or in accordance with the provisions of article 16.4 of Act 39/2015 of 1 October on the Common Administrative Procedure for Public Administrations, within a maximum period of 20 working days from the day after the publication in the Official State Gazette.
