The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) published the results of the seventh Study of the Spending Review programme: Evaluation of Sociedad Estatal Correos y Telégrafos, and provision of the Universal Postal Service. AIReF highlights that the repayment model of Universal Postal Service can be improved.
The Spending Review has been carried out for the first time in Spain by an independent institution based on data, the empirical evidence and the most successful experiences nationally and internationally.
